welcome, a quick introduction
Alessia O'Brien is a queer artist, poet, and potter living on Pawtucket land, the Massachusetts shore.
Sculpting and holding the magic of warm breezes, salt marshes, singing birds and the secret whispers of butterflies- my work comes from place of slow hands and gentle appreciation, with a functional and tactile practicality that allows each piece to find a way to be used, loved, and appreciated daily. I take inspiration from the dawn of humanity, the organic love of creation thousands of years ago, and from the raucous and wild world all around me now.
